Pick up a copy of "Biblioteca Las Américas Digital Resources" at the reference desk for home access codes and passwords.

Some tips to remember:

If you use EBSCO, select advanced search and choose peer-reviewed.
In the GALE databases, use Expanded Academic or InfoTrac OneFile, choose peer-reviewed, search for sociology as a subject, then narrow by subdivision. At this point, you may search "case studies."
Proquest - Using Topic Browse feature, type in sociology and choose related subjects.
